Hi I’m Sydney, and I design sacred spaces.
Our homes are one of the most intimate parts of self that’s put on display for everyone to see. That trinket dish that you bought on your first solo trip to Mexico City? The coffee table you made a beeline for at the thrift store and got for a steal? The vase that once sat on your grandmother’s dining room table that now holds your favorite flowers on your dining room table?
All of the stories and memories within those items speak to the inner most parts of self — the trinket dish is a reminder of how you set aside your fear and traveled to a new place by yourself for the first time; the coffee table is a nod to the independence you felt selecting furniture for your first adult apartment; your grandmother’s vase is a symbol that your love for her still exists, even though she is now an ancestor.
The way we decorate and design our spaces is deeply personal. When times are challenging in our personal lives or on a collective level, we can lean on our spaces to bring us home to ourselves, connect with others, help us rest and reset, and let our wildest dreams come to life.
My design practice is rooted in untethered creativity, sustainability, and intuition — and I use these values to help people design and curate their homes as spaces of fun, joy, connection, and safety. In my work, it’s not about what’s “right” or “trendy” — it’s about the story you want your space to tell about you.
When we are connected with our homes, we are connected deeper to ourselves and with each other. What story do you want to tell through your home?
If you’re ready to start writing the story of your home and cultivating a space that feels sacred to you, let’s talk! Here’s how you can connect with me:
